Guitar and drum lessons in Holme on Spalding Moor
I teach electric and acoustic guitar, and drums on a full kit, from my home in Holme on Spalding Moor, a few minutes from Market Weighton. Lessons are one to one and cost £30 an hour or £15 for half an hour. There are no grades, no exams and no contracts, and beginners of any age are welcome.
I had five different teachers when I was learning. I teach the way I wish they had taught me: in plain English, and only the things you will actually use.

Lessons are on a full standard kit, so you don't need one of your own to start. You get a free pair of drumsticks at your third lesson.

A proper method
I follow a method I've put together over the years: exercises and short sections of real songs, each one picked because of what it teaches. Work through them and the skills build properly, so that when you want to play your own kind of music, you can.
Tab, not theory
Everything is taught from tab, so you never need to read music. Drums follow the same approach as guitar.
Any age
Younger children are welcome. I ask a parent to stay in the room for their lessons.
